Last updated: April 26, 2026
This forum (ourhampshire.org) is operated by alumni of Hampshire College as part of Our Hampshire — an independent, alumni-led project. We are not affiliated with Hampshire College Inc. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the forum and how it is used.
What we collect
- Account data: email address, display name, and (if you sign in with Google, Microsoft, or Apple) the basic profile fields those providers return — typically name, email, and an avatar URL.
- Forum activity: posts, replies, reactions, messages, drafts, uploads, and any content you create on the forum.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, and access timestamps. This is logged for security, abuse prevention, and basic analytics.
- Cookies: a session cookie keeps you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone. We do not run advertising. We will not disclose your data to third parties except where required by law or to protect the safety of the community.
